How to Transfer Videos from iPhone/iPad to Computer without iTunes

With the coming of new iPhone, we know that the camera on iPhone has reached a great progress technically. It’s a good new for the people who enjoy photographing or video shooting, while there’re plenty of Apps for video editing. Although iPhone became larger screen than its predecessor, it’s still not so convenient as computer, especially when we want to add more interesting effects on a video. Method 1: Transfer Videos to computer with iPhone software

Method 2: Download Videos from iCloud

After iOS 8, if you’ve activated iCloud Photo Library, all your photos and videos in your iOS device will automatically be uploaded to iCloud with network available. Then after the uploading process finished, you can download videos from iCloud.
  1. Check if you’ve activated iCloud Photo Library, and connect iOS device to network.

Every time you connect iPhone to computer, there’s a prompt pop up on the screen named “AutoPlay”, and lead you to the location of iPhone folder DCIM. Even if you don’t receive any prompt, you can find the folder yourself, and transfer videos to computer easily by copying and pasting.

Note: If you’ve turned on iCloud Photo Library and ticked on Optimise iPhone Storage, you will find nothing but hidden image in this folder.

Method 4: Import Videos from iPhone/iPad to Mac

If you have a Mac, you can quickly get videos from iOS device. 
  1. Once you plug in iPhone or iPad, the Photos App will automatically open or you open it manually.
  2. Click the Import tag on the top and then select the videos need to import.
  3. Click Import Selected, and follow onscreen prompts after process finished.
